Wendy C. Sager has spent more than thirty years serving the whims and needs of travelers, business people, meeting planners, conventioneers and corporations, all while still managing a wink and a smile.


Beginning as a front desk clerk, Wendy started her career with Hyatt Hotels Corporation, ending her tenure there after seven years as Hotel Assistant Manager at Hyatt’s then-premier property, The Grand Cypress in Orlando, Florida. After moving to the Stouffer/Renaissance Hotel chain, Wendy worked for eight years in Catering/Convention Services and Event Planning, the last five as Assistant Director of the most successful such operation in Baltimore.


In 1998, Wendy was recruited to join Penton Media Inc. As Marketing and Conference Manager, she directed meetings, educational seminars, incentives and major conferences. Her responsibilities included contract negotiation, site selection, conference development, speaker management, registration, budget management and all other meeting components. Concurrently she designed brochures, maintained databases, worked with sponsors and advertisers, wrote press releases and oversaw staff.


In fall of 2001, Wendy became an independent consultant; she has since worked for clients including Enterprise Community Partners, Feats, GE Healthcare, Capitol Services, Inc. and The Women’s Housing Coalition. Headquartered in the historic Federal Hill district of downtown Baltimore, Maryland, Wendy specializes in all aspects of party, meeting, conference, incentive and special event planning, as well as on-site meeting management.
